Advantages of the CO2 fire extinguisher: It is one of the least polluting fire extinguishers and without residual gas, so it is suitable for Type C fire (electrical fire) and can avoid damaging equipment. However, this type of fire extinguisher is not efficient for type A fire (general fire) and cannot be used in confined space to prevent suffocation of personnel. It is only suitable for type B and type C fires. It uses CO2 injected from the seamless high-pressure steel bottle to achieve a cooling and suffocation effect to put out the fire. This type of fire extinguisher is less effective than the dry chemical fire extinguisher.
